This study, titled Green Campus Initiative (GCI): Integration of Sustainable Practice in the Management of University in Nigeria, investigated sustainable management practices, focusing on energy conservation, waste management, water efficiency, and green building practices in Nigerian Universities. The goal was to assess how the universities balance current operational needs with future sustainability, thereby promoting environmental stewardship and reducing carbon footprints to improve educational quality and contribute to global climate action. Using a descriptive survey design, data were gathered from the responses of 144 senior staff in 13 public universities spanning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones and the Federal.
