The integration of educational technology into teacher education holds transformative potential for enhancing collaboration and driving systemic improvements in Nigeria. This paper explores the role of educational technology as a catalyst for fostering a collaborative culture among educators and transforming traditional teaching methodologies. Drawing upon relevant theories and addressing the current challenges faced by Nigerian teacher education, the paper highlights the benefits and impacts of technology-driven initiatives. Through case studies and best practices, it demonstrates the effectiveness of these approaches in improving teacher competency, student engagement, and overall educational outcomes. The paper also offers strategic recommendations for the effective integration of educational technology, considering policy, training, and partnerships. Despite the challenges and limitations, the findings underscore the importance of embracing technological innovations to build a more collaborative and transformative teacher education system in Nigeria.
